SCHEDULE - Alameda/Oakland

At the turn of the century, the Oakland waterfront was bustling with seafood and produce vendors, restaurants and saloons. Author Jack London, drawing much of his material from his experiences here, adopted this area as his stomping ground. Today, this waterfront area has retained much of its charm as a popular shopping, dining and theatre venue. Explore the many unique shops at Jack London Square, or dine alfresco at several of its Bay front restaurants. Relive the turn of the century by visiting Jack London Museum, where you'll find vintage photographs, newspapers and other period memorabilia. On Sundays you'll find the Farmer's Market, open year-round, where the freshest produce, flowers and specialty foods are yours for the choosing. Across the estuary, you'll find Alameda's Main Street, home to a unique and historic shopping district. Tree-lined streets, enchanting Victorian homes, parks and miles of bike trails make Alameda a can't-miss island community.

Blue & Gold Fleet's ferry vessels used for the Oakland/Alameda service are accessible to people with disabilities. The dock and gangway ramps used to embark and disembark from the vessels have reduced slopes and an accessible restroom is available on the Encinal and the Peralta.  Passengers using wheelchairs have multiple seating options interspersed throughout the ships. Our friendly deck hands are happy to provide any additional assistance requested by passengers with disabilities.

Note: For round-trip Alameda or Oakland excursions, please purchase two (2) one-way tickets. If single ticket were purchased, return tickets are available on board or at the PIER 39 Ticket Booth. Tickets are valid for any departure time for up to six (6) months from date of purchase and are non-refundable. Blue & Gold Fleet accepts Commuter Checks for the Alameda/Oakland Ferry Service. For more information on Commuter Checks, please visit www.commutercheck.com.

"Standard fare tickets" for regular ferry service and "discounted commuter ticket booklets" are not accepted on the direct AT&T Park/Giants ballgame service or on the Angel Island services.
